Joining broadview
Any person may offer themselves as a candidate for membership in the church in one of the following ways:
SALVATION
By professing faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, following Him in believer’s baptism and committing to church membership.
BAPTISM
Having previously trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you now follow Him in believer’s baptism and commit to church membership. (Broadview practices baptism by immersion after a person’s conversion.)
TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP
By transferring your membership from another Baptist church of like faith and practice and committing to membership here.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
By statement of your faith in Jesus Christ and your baptism by immersion after salvation and committing to church membership here.

As a candidate for membership you’ll then need to fill out our Membership Interest Form. This form will give you an opportunity to sign up for our next New Member Class.
Membership Process
Once an individual has become a candidate, they will move through the following process to finalize their membership.
1. Fill out a Membership Interest Form
2. Attend a New Members Class
3. Sign the Church Covenant
4. Complete an Interview (with Pastor, Staff or Deacon)
5. Be Affirmed by the Congregation.
Note: To commit to membership here means to accept and align with Broadview’s doctrinal, mission and governance statements.
