Hello Parents,
As if keeping track of which day it is wasn’t hard enough, I am bringing you the Monday Update on a Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your holiday yesterday and talked with your children about the significance of the day and the sacrifice that was made so that we can enjoy our freedom. This week we are going to celebrate the beginning of summer with the return of a fan-favorite!
Two weeks ago, we did “Chalk at the Church” for the first time. Families had a blast doing art work in the parking lot! Several families said they wanted to chalk but were not able to due to busy school schedules, so we are bringing it back! This week is Chalk at the Church 2.0! We encourage you to come up to church and write a positive note or artwork in the parking lot for our church family and staff to enjoy. After you finish, take a picture with your family and your art to post on social media with the hashtag #chalkatthechurch. If you are not on social media, you can email the picture as well.
We did say that this week is the 2.0 version so we wanted to add some extra fun! We have purchased some popsicles for your family to enjoy! To get them, come to the church office between the hours of 9AM-12PM or 1PM-3PM Tuesday through Thursday and 9am-11am on Friday. Please make sure you sanitize when entering and exiting the building at our sanitization station near the church doors. Also, all families that post or send in a picture while be entered into a drawing to win some awesome children’s Bibles and books.
