Hello Parents,

What a great week we just finished! I absolutely loved seeing all of the Easter crafts and Resurrection Eggs that were completed in your homes last week! It is so encouraging to see all of you engaging with the Gospel as a family! 

This week we want to turn the page to a new theme! The phrase we want to focus on this week is, “Seek and Find”. Our goal in the Preschool and Children’s Ministries is to play a part in helping your child build a strong spiritual foundation. Now that we have delivered the Good News to them, we want to encourage them to continue to get to know this wonderful God we serve! In Jeremiah 29:13, it says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” We want to encourage you to seek and find out more about God this week as a family. We encourage you to read short stories from the Bible each day and ask your children what they can determine about God from that story. We want children to discover the love of God, the awe of God, and even the wrath of God. We want children to seek God, discover Him, and know Him fully with all their hearts.

Each day we will be posting a Scavenger Hunt in the Preschool and Children’s private Facebook groups for the children to complete at home, in the neighborhood, or in the car. We want to reinforce the idea of seeking and finding. We want children to understand that the joy they experience when finding the item they were hunting is just a tiny glimpse of the joy they can experience when they “hunt” for God and find Him.
