On April 28th, the Sunday after Easter, we will launch a six-week spiritual growth campaign entitled “Lost & Found: God’s Gracious Pursuit of Sinners.” This campaign will include all adult, student & children ministries. It will be a church-wide focus on Luke 15 and the story of the prodigal son.
There will be Sunday morning messages that correspond to the campaign theme. In addition, we will have small group resources available for every age. It’s going to be a special time for our entire church family. We will all be focusing on the central them of God’s grace and his heart for sinners. Please be praying for the campaign starting now.
We are putting together a campaign team to help with all of the logistics involved. There will be invite cards, social media posts, and others forms of communication to help spread the word about campaign. It’s always a good time to invite a friend to Broadview but Easter Sunday will be an especially good day to invite them because they’ll have an opportunity to find a “Lost & Found” small group.
We are requesting that all of our adult small groups participate in the campaign. In addition, we are looking to create an additional 10-15 groups that will meet for the six weeks of the campaign. Some of those groups may decide to keep meeting after the campaign but the requirement is only for the first six weeks after Easter.
Each group will have video teaching resources made available to facilitate the group time. There will also be a discussion guide that promotes conversation around the video teaching. (groups are not required to play the video but it’s available for those who find it beneficial)
If you, or someone you know, would be interested in leading a group please fill out this form or contact the church office at 325-692-2360. I believe the Lord wants to use this time to do something special in our church family. I hope you’ll join me in praying that we are all open and personally surrendered to whatever it is He wants to do.
The focus theme for our church in 2019 is “Life Together.” We are trying to find strategic ways to promote and energize the small group ministry in our church. We’re praying the Lord will use this campaign to take us one step further in that direction. Thanks for considering how you can play a part!
