Baptism

Go Public

"Baptism is an outward demonstration of a previous inward transformation..."

Baptism is such a vital part of discipleship that Jesus included it in the Great Commission: we are to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matt. 28:19). Although a person’s sins are forgiven based on faith in Jesus alone, baptism is an important symbol of death to our new way of living and a new beginning in Christ.

At Broadview we believe in what is called “believers baptism.”

By that we mean that a person must first be a believer before they are baptized. If you have put your faith in Jesus but have yet to follow him in believers baptism we would invite you to get baptized. You can get baptized on any Sunday during any of the morning worship services.

What do I have to do?

  • You need to have already made a decision to become a Christian.
  • You need to speak with a pastor about your decision and desire for baptism.
  • You need to schedule a date and time so that your family and friends can be made aware.

To speak with one of our pastors about your baptism you can fill out our connect card. (click the box that says I’m taking my next step.)
